Year 1

Welcome to Dandelion class!

In Dandelion class we have a mixture of Year 1 and Year 2 children. There are currently 29 children in the class which is made up of 22 Year 1 and 7 Year 2 children. 

Mrs Clarke and Mrs Shaw support the children in Dandelion class, and they fully believe in promoting a creative curriculum which allows children to explore exciting, stimulating and engaging activities. This ensures that children are always following a fun approach to learning with lots of hands on and practical opportunities provided.    

Dandelion class follow a protected story time approach, where the children have 20 minutes each day to get lost in fantastic stories both old and new.   

Dandelion class have PE every Tuesday and Thursday, so on these days the children need to come to school in their PE kits.

Welcome to Bluebell class!

There are currently 30 children in the class - 11 boys and 19 girls. 

Miss Allen, Mrs Manson, Miss Whittle and Mrs Cook, support the children in Bluebell class, and they fully believe in promoting a creative curriculum which allows children to explore exciting, stimulating and engaging activities. This ensures that children are always following a fun approach to learning with lots of hands on and practical opportunities provided.    

Bluebell class have PE every Monday and Tuesday, so on these days the children need to come to school in their PE kits.

In the summer children may wish to come to school in shorts and t-shirt with a light jacket in case the weather changes, In the colder months then children should wear warm clothes including coats, hats, scarves and gloves. This is because we try to be outside as much as possible. Children should always wear trainers or shoes of such nature.
